Amelia Rose Estrada is a queer, Latina performing artist, choreographer, and scholar. As a performance maker, her work lives in between dance and theater and explores identity, memory, and play. She is currently a PhD student at Tufts University in the Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies Department. Her research interests center Latina women in dance and sport. Her current research focuses on the intersection of dance, race, and nation in the Dominican Republic. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Dance and Classical Studies.
