Erin Stoneking

Erin Stoneking (she/her) is an assistant professor in the Department of Gender and Race Studies at The University of Alabama. A dramaturg and theatre and performance scholar, Dr. Stoneking’s current research investigates the contemporary interpretation of and embodied encounters with the U.S. Southern past, with an emphasis on African American drama and anti-racist performance practices. In her dramaturgical practice, she is particularly invested in supporting the development of new theatrical works based on forgotten or marginalized histories.
