Judith Phagan has been a member of St. Joseph’s College faculty since 2001. Prior to working at SJC, she taught at St. John’s University, Empire State College, Five Towns College and Long Island University.
Dr. Phagan’s scholarly and professional interests include GLBTQ Studies, American Indian Studies, African American literature, disability studies, Jewish literature and environmental issues. Dr. Phagan has a chapter in the MLA Let’s Talk About Teaching series due for publication in 2017. She is currently working on a book project on passing. She is a member of MLA, Association of Judaic Studies and the Audubon Society.
