Luis Grande, born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1981, has resided in Caracas, Puerto Rico, and the United States, experiencing life under socialism, colonialism, and capitalism. Observing how media representations differed across these ideologies ignited his interest in the intersection of technology and reality. This led him to explore the impact of media technologies on human experiences. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication, Culture, and Media at Drexel University, his research focuses on artificial intelligence's influence on culture, society, and human experiences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in media production from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), along with a master’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Miami and another one in Communication Theory and Research from UPR. His doctoral dissertation delves into meaningful socio-emotional relationships between humans and chatbots.
