Jennifer Erica Sweda is currently an independent scholar. She has published in the fields of library and information science, scholarly communication, and travel and tourism. She has chaired the Travel and Tourism area of MAPACA since 2008. She holds Master’s degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and University of Pennsylvania.
