Brian C. Johnson is an adjunct instructor for Luzerne County Community College. He teaches interpersonal communication and sociology. In his spare time, he serves as an associate pastor at Revival Tabernacle in Watsontown, PA. Brian serves MAPACA as the area chair for Black Studies and is the VP for Diversity and Inclusion. He is a novelist. His second book, Send Judah First: the Erased Life of an Enslaved Soul is an Amazon Best Seller in Historical African Fiction. His book Reel Diversity: A Teacher’s Sourcebook (2008) was recognized by the National Association for Multicultural Education for its usefulness in helping classroom educators utilize film to complement diversity instruction.
