
Film director and cult icon John Waters was the recipient of the first Divine Impact Award at the MAPACA Conference in Baltimore, 2014. This award recognizes outstanding creative or scholarly achievement in the production, performance, or scholarly consideration of popular culture that exhibits exceptional contribution, longevity, originality, and impact.
